Reassurance and Comfort
Surah Al-Baqara – Chapter 2, verse 45
Waista'eenoo bissabri was-salati wa-innaha lakabeeratun illa 'ala al-khashi'een.
And resort to patience and Prayer for help. Truly Prayer is burdensome for all except the devout.
Surah Al-Baqara – Chapter 2, verse 152
Fazkurooneee azkurkum washkuroo lee wa laa takfuroon (Section 18)
So remember Me and I shall remember you; give thanks to Me and do not be ungrateful to Me for My favours.
Surah Al-Baqara – Chapter 2, verse 153

Yaaa ayyuhal laazeena aamanus ta'eenoo bissabri was Salaah; innal laaha ma'as-saabireen
Believers! Seek help in patience and in Prayer; Allah is with those that are patient.
Surah Al-Baqara – Chapter 2, verse 286
Laa yukalliful-laahu nafsan illaa wus'ahaa; lahaa maa kasabat wa 'alaihaa maktasabat; Rabbanaa laa tu'aakhiznaaa in naseenaaa aw akhtaanaa; Rabbanaa wa laa tahmil-'alainaaa isran kamaa hamaltahoo 'alal-lazeena min qablinaa; Rabbanaa wa laa tuhammilnaa maa laa taaqata lanaa bih; wa'fu 'annaa waghfir lanaa warhamnaa; Anta mawlaanaa fansurnaa 'alal qawmil kaafireen (section 40)
Allah does not lay a responsibility on anyone beyond his capacity. In his favour shall be whatever good each one does, and against him whatever evil he does. (Believers! Pray thus to your Lord): “Our Lord! Take us not to task if we forget or commit mistakes. Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden such as You laid on those gone before us. Our Lord! Lay not on us burdens which we do not have the power to bear. And overlook our faults, and forgive us, and have mercy upon us. You are our Guardian; so grant us victory against the unbelieving folk.”
Surah Ali-Imran – Chapter 3, verse 54
Wa makaroo wa makaral laahu wallaahu khairul maakireen (Section 5)
Then they schemed (against the Messiah), and Allah countered their schemes by schemes of His own. Allah is the best of schemers.
Surah Ali-Imran – Chapter 3, verse 139

Do not, then, either lose heart or grieve, for you shall surely gain the upper hand if you are true men of faith.
Surah Ali-Imran – Chapter 3, verse 159
Fabimaa rahmatim minal laahi linta lahum wa law kunta fazzan ghaleezal qalbi lanfaddoo min hawlika fa'afu 'anhum wastaghfir lahum wa shaawirhum fil amri fa izaa 'azamta fatawakkal 'alal laah; innallaaha yuhibbul mutawak kileen
It was thanks to Allah's mercy that you were gentle to them. Had you been rough, hard-hearted, they would surely have scattered away from you. So, pardon them, and pray for their forgiveness, and take counsel from them in matters of importance. And when you are resolved on a course of action place your trust in Allah; surely Allah loves those who put their trust (in Him).
Surah Ali-Imran – Chapter 3, verse 173
When people said to them: 'Behold, a host has gathered around you and you should fear them', it only increased their faith and they answered: 'Allah is Sufficient for us; and what an excellent Guardian He is!'
Surah An-Nisa – Chapter 4, verse 28
Allah wants to lighten your burdens, for man was created weak.
Suran Al-Anfal – Chapter 8, verse 30

Wa iz yamkuru bikal lazeena kafaroo liyusbitooka aw yaqtulooka aw yukhrijook; wa yamkuroona wa yamkurul laahu wallaahu khairul maakireen
And recall how those who disbelieved schemed against you to take you captive, or kill you, or drive you away. They schemed and Allah did also scheme. Allah is the best of those who scheme.
Surah Yunus – Chapter 10, verse 65
Wa laa yahzunka qawluhum; innal 'izzata lillaahi jamee'aa; Huwas Samee'ul 'Aleem
(O Prophet!) Let not the utterances of the opponents distress you. Indeed all honour is Allah's. He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
Surah Ar-Ra’ad – Chapter 13, verse 28
Allazeena aamanoo wa tatma'innu quloobuhum bizikril laah; alaa bizikril laahi tatma'innul quloob
Such are the ones who believe (in the message of the Prophet) and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah. Surely in Allah's remembrance do hearts find rest.
Surah Ibrahim – Chapter 14, verse 7

Fasatazkuroona maaa aqoolu lakum; wa ufawwidu amreee ilal laah; innallaaha baseerum bil'ibaad
