Surah Ali-Imran – Chapter 3, Verse 15
قُلْ أَؤُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِخَيْرٍ مِنْ ذَٰلِكُمْ ۚ لِلَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَأَزْوَاجٌ مُطَهَّرَةٌ وَرِضْوَانٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ
Qul a'unabbi 'ukum bikhairim min zaalikum; lillazeenat taqaw 'inda Rabbihim jannaatun tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaa wa azwaajum mutahharatunw wa ridwaanum minal laah; wallaahu baseerum bil'ibaad
Say: 'Shall I tell you of things better than these? For the God-fearing there are, with their Lord, gardens beneath which rivers flow; there they will abide for ever, will have spouses of stainless purity as companions, and will enjoy the good pleasure of Allah.' Allah thoroughly observes His servants.
Surah Al-Na’am – Chapter 6, verse 127
لَهُمْ دَارُ السَّلَامِ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ وَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
Lahum daarus salaami 'inda Rabbihim wa huwa waliyyuhum bimaa kaanoo ya'maloon
Theirs shall be an abode of peace with their Lord - their Protector - in recompense for all they have done.
Surah At-Tawba – Chapter 9, verse 72
وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَمَسَاكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِي جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ ۚ وَرِضْوَانٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
Wa'adal laahulmu' mineena walmu'minaati Jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaa wa masaakina taiyibatan fee Jannnaati 'adn; wa ridwaanum minal laahi akbar; zaalika huwal fawzul 'azeem (Section 9)
Allah has promised the believing men and believing women Gardens beneath which rivers flow. They shall abide in it. There are delightful dwelling places for them in the Gardens of Eternity. They shall, above all, enjoy the good pleasure of Allah. That is the great achievement.
Surah Yunus – Chapter 10, verse 9
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ يَهْدِيهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ بِإِيمَانِهِمْ ۖ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهِمُ الْأَنْهَارُ فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ
Innal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati yahdeehim Rabbuhum bi eemaanihim tajree min tahtihimul anhaaru fee jannaatin Na'eem
Surely those who believe (in the truths revealed in the Book) and do righteous deeds their Lord will guide them aright because of their faith. Rivers shall flow beneath them in the Gardens of Bliss.
Surah Ar-Ra’ad – Chapter 13, Verses 23 to 14
جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا وَمَنْ صَلَحَ مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ ۖ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يَدْخُلُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ بَابٍ (23)
سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ ۚ فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ (24)
(23) Jannaatu 'adiny yadkhu loonahaa wa man salaha min aabaaa'ihim wa azwaajihim wa zurriyyaatihim walmalaaa'i katu yadkhuloona 'alaihim min kulli baab (24) Salaamun 'alaikum bimaa sabartum; fani'ma 'uqbad daar
(23) - the Ever-lasting Gardens which they shall enter and so shall the righteous from among their fathers, and their spouses, and their offspring. And angels shall enter unto them from every gate, and say: (24) "Peace be upon you. You merit this reward for your steadfastness." How excellent is the ultimate abode!
Surah Al-Kahf – Chapter 18, verse 107
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتُ الْفِرْدَوْسِ نُزُلًا
Innal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati kaanat lahum Jannaatul Firdawsi nuzulaa
As for those who believe and do good works, the Gardens of Paradise shall be there to welcome them;
Surah Al-Hajj – Chapter 22, verse 56
الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلَّهِ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ فَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ
Almulku Yawma'izil lillaahi yahkumu bainahum; fallazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati fee jannaatin Na'eem
On that Day all sovereignty shall be Allah's and He will judge among them. Then those who believed and acted righteously shall be in Gardens of Bliss.
Surah Al-Mu’minun – Chapter 23, verse 11
الَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ الْفِرْدَوْسَ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ
Allazeena yarisoonal Firdawsa hum feehaa khaalidoon
that shall inherit Paradise; and in it they shall abide for ever.
Surah Al-Furqan – Chapter 25, verse 15
قُلْ أَذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ أَمْ جَنَّةُ الْخُلْدِ الَّتِي وُعِدَ الْمُتَّقُونَ ۚ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَزَاءً وَمَصِيرًا
Qul azaalika khairun am Jannatul khuldil latee wu'idal muttaqoon; kaanat lahum jazaaa'anw wa maseeraa
Ask them: "Is this state better or the Garden of Eternity which the God-fearing have been promised?" It shall be their recompense and the end-point of their journey;
Surah Al-Fatir – Chapter 35, Verses 34 to 35
وَقَالُوا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَذْهَبَ عَنَّا الْحَزَنَ ۖ إِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ (34)
الَّذِي أَحَلَّنَا دَارَ الْمُقَامَةِ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ لَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَلَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا لُغُوبٌ (35)
(34) Wa qaalul hamdu lillaahil lazeee azhaba 'annal hazan; inna Rabbanaa la Ghafoorun Shakoor (35) Allazeee ahallanaa daaral muqaamati min fadlihee laa yamassunaa feehaa nasabunw wa laa yamassunaa feehaa lughoob
(34) They will say: “All praise be to Allah Who has taken away all sorrow from us. Surely our Lord is Most Forgiving, Most Appreciative.” (35) (the Lord) Who, out of His Bounty, has made us dwell in an abode wherein no toil, nor fatigue affects us.
Surah Ya-seen – Chapter 36, Verses 55 to 58
إِنَّ أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ الْيَوْمَ فِي شُغُلٍ فَاكِهُونَ (55)
(56) هُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُهُمْ فِي ظِلَالٍ عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ مُتَّكِئُونَ
لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَلَهُمْ مَا يَدَّعُونَ (57)
سَلَامٌ قَوْلًا مِنْ رَبٍّ رَحِيمٍ (58)
(55) Inna Ashaabal jannatil Yawma fee shughulin faakihoon (56) Hum wa azwaajuhum fee zilaalin 'alal araaa'iki muttaki'oon (57) Lahum feehaa faakiha tunw-wa lahum maa yadda'oon (58) Salaamun qawlam mir Rabbir Raheem
(55) Indeed, the people of Paradise will be busy enjoying themselves: (56) they and their spouses shall be reclining on their couches in shady groves; (57) therein there will be all kinds of fruits to eat, and they shall have all that they desire. (58) “Peace” shall be the word conveyed to them from their Merciful Lord.
Surah Muhammad – Chapter 47, Verse 15
مَثَلُ الْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي وُعِدَ الْمُتَّقُونَ ۖ فِيهَا أَنْهَارٌ مِنْ مَاءٍ غَيْرِ آسِنٍ وَأَنْهَارٌ مِنْ لَبَنٍ لَمْ يَتَغَيَّرْ طَعْمُهُ وَأَنْهَارٌ مِنْ خَمْرٍ لَذَّةٍ لِلشَّارِبِينَ وَأَنْهَارٌ مِنْ عَسَلٍ مُصَفًّى ۖ وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ كَمَنْ هُوَ خَالِدٌ فِي النَّارِ وَسُقُوا مَاءً حَمِيمًا فَقَطَّعَ أَمْعَاءَهُمْ
Masalul jannatil latee wu'idal muttaqoona feehaaa anhaarum min maaa'in ghayri aasininw wa anhaarum mil labanil lam yataghaiyar ta'muhoo wa anhaarum min khamril lazzatin li shaaribeena wa anhaarum min 'asalim musaffanw wa lahum feeha min kullis samaraati wa maghfiratum mir Rabbihim kaman huwa khaalidun fin naari wa suqoo maaa'an hameeman faqatta'a am'aaa'ahum
Here is the parable of Paradise which the God-fearing have been promised: in it shall be rivers of incorruptible water, rivers of milk unchanging in taste, and rivers of wine, a delight to those that drink; and rivers of pure honey. In it they will have every kind of fruit as well as forgiveness from their Lord. Can such be like those who will abide in the Fire and will be given a boiling water to drink that will tear their bowels apart?
Surah At-Tur – Chapter 52, Verse 21
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَاتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُمْ بِإِيمَانٍ أَلْحَقْنَا بِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَمَا أَلَتْنَاهُمْ مِنْ عَمَلِهِمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۚ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِينٌ
Wallazeena aamanoo wattaba'at hum zurriyyatuhum bieemaanin alhaqnaa bihim zurriyyatahum wa maaa alatnaahum min 'amalihim min shai'; kullum ri'im bimaa kasaba raheen
We shall unite the believers with those descendants of theirs who followed them in their faith, and shall not deny them any part of the reward for their good deeds. Every person is pledged to what he did.
Surah Al-Waqi’a – Chapter 56, Verses 17 to 21
(17) يَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَانٌ مُخَلَّدُونَ
بِأَكْوَابٍ وَأَبَارِيقَ وَكَأْسٍ مِنْ مَعِينٍ (18)
لَا يُصَدَّعُونَ عَنْهَا وَلَا يُنْزِفُونَ (19)
وَفَاكِهَةٍ مِمَّا يَتَخَيَّرُونَ (20)
وَلَحْمِ طَيْرٍ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ (21)
(17) Yatoofu 'alaihim wildaa num mukhalladoon (18) Bi akwaabinw wa abaareeq, wa kaasim mim ma'een (19) Laa yusadda'oona 'anhaa wa laa yunzifoon (20) Wa faakihatim mimmaa yatakhaiyaroon (21) Wa lahmi tairim mimmaa yashtahoon
(17) immortal youths shall go about them (18) with goblets and ewers and a cup filled with a drink drawn from a running spring, (19) a drink by which their minds will not be clouded, nor will it cause drunkenness; (20) they will also go about them with the fruits of which they may choose, (21) and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire to eat;
Surah Al-Waqi’a – Chapter 56, Verses 25 to 26
لَا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا وَلَا تَأْثِيمًا (25)
(26) إِلَّا قِيلًا سَلَامًا سَلَامًا
(25) Laa yasma'oona feehaa laghwanw wa laa taaseemaa (26) Illaa qeelan salaaman salaamaa
(25) There they shall hear no idle talk nor any sinful speech. (26) All talk will be sound and upright.
Surah Al-Ghashiya – Chapter 88, Verses 10-16
فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ (10)
لَا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَاغِيَةً (11)
فِيهَا عَيْنٌ جَارِيَةٌ (12)
فِيهَا سُرُرٌ مَرْفُوعَةٌ (13)
وَأَكْوَابٌ مَوْضُوعَةٌ (14)
وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌ (15)
وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ (16)
(10) Fee jannatin 'aaliyah (11) Laa tasma'u feehaa laaghiyah (12) Feehaa 'aynun jaariyah (13) Feehaa sururum marfoo'ah (14) Wa akwaabum mawzoo'ah (15) Wa namaariqu masfoofah (16) Wa zaraabiyyu mabsoosah
(10) They will be in a lofty Garden (11) wherein they shall hear no vain talk. (12) In it there shall be a flowing spring, (13) and couches raised high, (14) and goblets laid out, (15) and cushions arrayed in rows, (16) and rich carpets levelled out.
